We all know that the brand Coca Cola is well know all over the world. Also in Singapore they know the brand Cola Cola. With Christmas the Singaporeans can usually only dream of a white Christmas. Coca-Cola have given these people a memory they won't forget. They transported snow through a great installation from the Finnish Laplands to the sultry tropics via a pair of high-tech vending machines. In a short film below this text you can see what they did.
Coca-Cola machines equipped with screens provide a live video feed between the two locations. In Finland they riding reindeers while short-sleeved Singaporeans enjoy a much warmer evening in a bustling shopping area. Lapland locals shovel snow into their machine, sending a shower of flakes down on their new friends halfway across the world. The Ogilvy & Mather-produced spot concludes with a friendly virtual snowball fight and simultaneous snow angel-making.
“This spectacular video brings to life one of the most exciting parts of the festive season, even in the warm climate of Singapore,” said Pratik Thakar, head of content and design excellence for Coke’s ASEAN and APAC region. “It’s not just about snow from Finland being brought to Singapore, but also about Finns and Singaporeans engaging in the true spirit of giving.”
